As a part of the South Carolina United Methodist Churches Safe Sanctuary Policy. All team members will have to have a Background check run effective Jan. 1, 2009. You should allow a minimum of two weeks. No one convicted of a felony or any crime involving a minor, youth are an at risk youth or having a DUI within 5 years will be allowed to participate on a team. A DUI may be restricted to the team member not being allowed too drive while on a trip. The Conference Safe Sanctuary Office will notify the team member and leader if this restriction applies.
